Information Officer

In terms of section 55 of the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), the Information Officer for ShepherdAI is:

Submitting a POPIA Request

Please include the following information:

1. Full name and ID number / passport number
2. Email address associated with your account
3. Specific information about the request (access, correction, deletion)
4. Proof of identity (copy of ID document)

We will respond within 72 hours and process the request within the statutory timeframe.

Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or as required by law (e.g., SARS record-keeping requirements). Account deletion requests will be honoured within 30 days, subject to legal retention obligations.
