2. Definitions

• "Platform" — ShepherdAI website, calculator, and all related services
• "Report" — the PDF farm profitability report generated by the platform
• "User" — any person who creates an account or uses the platform
• "Service" — all features offered on the platform

3. Account registration

You must be 18 years or older to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

4. Payments and pricing

All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable. Payment is processed via PayFast or direct bank transfer. Report prices are as displayed on the platform at the time of purchase. Ecosystem membership subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled.

5. Refunds

Single report purchases are covered by a 7-day money-back guarantee as detailed in our Refund Policy. Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law. Digital guide purchases are non-refundable once downloaded.

6. Report disclaimer

Reports are generated using provincial benchmarks and the information you provide. They are estimates for informational purposes only and do not constitute financial, tax, or legal advice. We recommend consulting a qualified agricultural economist or financial advisor before making business decisions based on report data.

7. User conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to access another user's account
• Submit false or misleading information
• Share your login credentials with others
• Scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from the platform
• Post prohibited items in classified listings (firearms, illegal products, livestock without required permits)

8. Intellectual property

All content on the platform, including reports, calculator logic, branding, and design, is the intellectual property of AgriSolve SA. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission. Reports purchased are for your personal use only.

9. Limitation of liability

ShepherdAI and AgriSolve SA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform or any report. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific report or service giving rise to the claim.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting agrisolvesa@gmail.com. Termination does not affect any rights or obligations that have already accrued.

11. Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of South Africa.
